Liminal: The Poolrooms

"LIMINAL The Poolrooms" is the first game in the collection.

Also Note: This is my first ever 3D Game and I had to learn everything from scratch such as the coding, the modelling, the texturing, everything, so if anything is off I apologise, it's my first time.  I am proud of what I have made here and "Liminal: The Poolrooms" is the first game in the collection I am going to be making.  This was also made during the Game Engine's first game jam and I joined in late, I had 5-6 days worth of learning and creating to make this game come alive and be playable for the internet.

                                                                           DESCRIPTION:

LIMINAL: THE POOLROOMS is a photorealistic backrooms/poolrooms inspired short demo. It is based around Level 37 of The Backrooms (aka The Poolrooms) which is where an expansive complex of interconnected rooms and corridors slightly submerge in undulating, lukewarm water, giving you a nostalgic feeling but also a sense of anxiety.

It's such a nice, relaxing time but something feels off, the emptiness, the ambience.  You just can't quite put your finger on what's wrong. A beautiful blend of visuals and the sounds of water create a hauntingly beautiful area which is begging to be explored.

Note: If you go into the game & the sensitivity is too high and return to the main menu to change it and load back in, the WASD stops working but it will work again after pressing ESC once.

- 2 to 5 minute playthrough
  (or longer if you like to explore and have a look at things)

- Walking and looking around feels immersive; the hums of electricity, the water sloshing etc.

Install Instructions:
1. Unzip LiminalCollection.zip
2. Open LiminalCollection
3. Open ThePoolrooms
4. Double click LIMINALThePoolrooms.exe
